主讲人简介：

Dr. Jianchu (Jason) Yao is a Professor with the Department of Engineering at East Carolina University (ECU), Greenville, North Carolina.   He received his Ph. D. degree in electrical engineering from Kansas State University in 2005, after which he joined ECU as a founding faculty member.  His current research interests include wearable medical devices, telehealthcare, control systems
，and educational research such as laboratory/project-driven learning and integration of research into undergraduate education.  Dr. Yao is a senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and an active IEEE volunteer.  He has chaired many committees for the IEEE Educational Activities Board and is currently a member of the IEEE Publications, Services, and Products Board (PSPB).
